Hans Versluys

Hans Versluys was born in Belgium where he spent most of his early years.

He studied sociology and development economics in Antwerpen and was involved in the Belgian punk scene and underground radio movement in the early 1980s.

In 1987 he moved to London where he worked as a media monitor.

In 1990 he emigrated to New Zealand, where he works as a archivist and librarian at New Zealand's state broadcaster.

He lives with his husband, Ewen, and cat, Linus, on Waiheke Island.
