June Gunn Lee is an emeritus research fellow in the Computational Science Center at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), where he has worked for 28 years. He has published roughly 70 papers on engineering ceramics and computational materials science. He earned a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Utah.
He has presented short courses at various companies (Samsung/SAIT, SK-Hynix, etc.) and lectured at Universities (Young-Nam U., U. of Seoul) in Korea on the subject of computational materials science.

1. He had drawn all pictorial drawings in this book himself to avoid any copy-right hassel.
2. He is a marathoner with a record that includes two full-course finishes.
3. He is preparing a third full-course run (Recently, he gave up).
