J.S. Picariello

Jil Picariello was born in New York City, took a short seventeen-year detour to suburbia, attended college in far-off Madison, Wisconsin, then returned, finally, to where it all began. She lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her husband and is the mother of two sons. Jil has worked as an advertising and marketing copywriter at ad agencies and magazines such as New York, People, and Parenting. She holds an MFA in creative writing from The New School. In between staring at blank pages on her MacBook, she likes to read, knit, cook, and play charades. But not all at the same time.
