James Jauncey

I am a Scottish author who has written novels for children, young adults, and adults. The two most recent novels, The Witness and The Reckoning, were both shortlisted for the Royal Mail Scottish Children's Book of the Year Award. More recently I have published a biography of my great-great-uncle, the extraordinary RB Cunninghame Graham, known as Don Roberto. For many years I was on the board of the Edinburgh International Book Festival – at the time the world's largest. I'm a co-founder of Dark Angels, the creative writing in business programme, and with my wife I run personal development workshops under the banner of The Stories We Tell. I live in Perthshire, on the edge of the Highlands.
