Lori Tripoli, J.D., has been covering lawyers, the business of law, and noteworthy litigation since she became a freelance writer and editor in the 1990s. Her work has appeared in the New York Law Journal, Of Counsel, Inside Litigation, Small Firm Business, Law Firm Inc., Career World, Woman's World, New York magazine (special advertising section on the Best Lawyers in America), and other publications, both legal and general interest. As a freelancer, she served as editor of Sustainability: The Journal of Record, Gaming Law Review and Economics (managing editor), Leader's Product Liability Law and Strategy, Environmental Compliance and Litigation Strategy (co-editor), Almanac of the Federal Judiciary (associate editor), and Inside Litigation (associate editor). She earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is an academic department chair at Kaplan University, where she oversees the Master of Science in Legal Studies program.
