Most of my working life has been devoted to graphic design, copywriting and photography and I also specialise in the restoration and reproduction of pre-1950's photographs from negative, glass plate or print; see - www.falconfoto.co.uk

I began writing erotic novels in 1995 and had eleven published by Virgin Books/Random House as paperbacks.

I now concentrate on mainstream readership with historical fantasy and science fiction. This reflects my own interest in ancient history, general and in particular space science. These subjects may be worlds apart - feeble pun intended - but jumping from one to the other seems to show each up in a fresh light that might not be so apparent if sticking to only one subject at a time. I have also published a two volume collection of short stories called, 'Hidden Worlds,' that take as their theme the strange and disturbing pathways everyday life can follow.

My science fiction novel, 'The Devil in Eden,' is now available on line or through Waterstones. 'The Man Who Sought Eternity,' is based upon the 'Epic of Gilgamesh,' oldest story in the world and one from which important elements of the Old Testament were derived, though it originated some 2,000 years earlier in what is now Iraq. 'Shadow of The Beast' recounts the adventures of Theseus, hero of ancient Athens and his bloody encounter with the Minotaur.

I have also completed 'Return of the Hero,' a novel based upon the adventures of Telemachus, son of Odysseus, in his endeavour to learn the fate of his father, missing since the end of the Trojan war.

Writing is a very solitary occupation and there have been times when I might have volunteered for a three month stint in some remote, south Atlantic lighthouse just to get along without life's many interruptions. But that's selfish, although there is a short story in it.
