Nancy Gill McShea

Nancy Gill McShea graduated from St. Joseph College in Emmitsburg, Maryland, with a B.A. degree in English Literature/Journalism and matriculated in masters' programs at C.W. Post College and Hofstra University. She was a Copy Writer/Editor for the D'Arcy Advertising Agency in New York, auditioned part-time for acting roles in television commercials and spent 15 years teaching English and coaching tennis in two Long Island secondary schools before starting a career as a tennis writer in New York. She has connected with tennis legends throughout the country and received five press service awards for her work. She was initially a Contributing Writer for World Tennis magazine and then the Public Relations Director/Writer for the USTA Eastern Section. She was the Managing Editor/Writer for Eastern Roundup and Passing Shot tennis magazines; a Copy Editor/Columnist for Tennis Week magazine; a Tennis Columnist for Newsday; and a staff writer for College and Junior Tennis magazine.
