Phillip Kalantzis-Cope

Phillip Kalantzis-Cope is Chief Social Scientist at Common Ground Research Networks. He is an active member of the American Association of Publishers, currently serving on the Committee for Digital Innovation, and is the Co-Founder of NewCritcals.com. Phillip completed his PhD (Politics) The New School for Social Research in New York City. A published author, his research areas include: the political economies of 'big-data'; the nature of immaterial labor within digital networks; and the conceptual boundaries of the 'material' and 'immaterial' as a politics of intellectual property within critical social theory. Phillip is also an internationally exhibited, and published, photographer.
