Lucille Connor Oliver, (1924-2011) was born in Chicago and raised in Park Ridge, Illinois. Always a writer, Lu put herself through college at the University of Arizona writing advertising copy. Her articles and stories have been read in a wide variety of publications including Ladies Home Journal, Alfred Hitchcock's Magazine and a cover story featured in Miami Herald's Tropic Magazine, just to name a few. Her first full-length novel, the fictionalized autobiography "Scenes in a Rearview Mirror" was published in 2003. Her latest books are the psychological thriller, "Woman in the Window" and "The First Christmas Tree", an enchanting story adapted from an old German folktale which Lu wrote many years ago and was first produced in Chicago as a narrated record.
Lucille Connor Oliver was mother to four and grandmother to nine and continued to write until her passing in September of 2011.
