Roger Alliman

Roger Alliman, M.A. is a retired counselor, author, mediator, and teacher. He was a founding officer for Rapha, an organization providing mental health to Christians nationwide. Roger has two seminary degrees and taught a course in Theology for Counseling, at Colorado Christian University. Roger has written numerous books on Christian living. His wife Elizabeth is a retired licensed professional counselor where they live in Colorado and worked primarily with marriage and family issues. They raised four children over their 62 years of marriage.

Co-Author of "Growing Roots & Bearing Fruit" and "Counseling Theory and the Scriptures" is Rick Surley, M.A. who is a Board Certified Clinical Psychotherapist and retired owner of New Beginnings Christian Counseling Clinic in San Antonio, Texas. Rick has counseled for more than 50 years and was a founding officer and Clinical Director with Rapha and managed the San Antonio offices of Minirth Meier New Life Clinics for many years. He believes that effective counseling for a Christian must be Christ-centered. Rick and his wife Carol have three sons and live in Texas.
