Linda Wilkinson

I am a Londoner through and through, my family have lived in the East End of London for over 400 years. For many years I worked in medical research, something I have only just began writing about in my new book Columbia Road - of Blood and Belonging. I see I can't share reviews on the US site from the UK but they have been very complimentary.

I write history books as well and have been involved in Human Rights work principally with Amnesty International of which I was the UK Chair. I have also worked with organisations promoting the rights of the LGBT+ communities. My partner and I were the first to sigh London's partnership register which laid the path towards marriage equality.

My publisher handles Of Blood and Belonging, but the history books I self published and it is I who will post them out.
