Adam was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1937. He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in 1967. Starting his career as a research and development engineer, Adam began a thirty-six-year varied career with Union Carbide Corporation. During this time, he married and raised two children, all the while performing in a dance band as an accordionist. Then he was divorced, later to remarry in 1987 and help raise two stepdaughters.
Discovering that he had lymphoma in 1994, Adam started orthodox treatments. A chemo treatment induced a stroke, forcing Adam on disability. His wife died in 2004 from breast cancer. Adam’s cancer relapsed a year later. After his disenchantment with orthodox medicine, he was determined to resolve his cancer issue with alternative medicine. Conquering Cancer divulges his research efforts that he now successfully practices and wishes to pass on to others.
