Kate Zambreno

Kate Zambreno is the author of eight books, most recently the novel Drifts and the study, To Write As If Already Dead. The Light Room, a meditation on art and care, is forthcoming from Riverhead Books in Summer 2023. Her writing has appeared in The Paris Review, Granta, BOMB, Astra, VQR, and elsewhere. She teaches in the graduate nonfiction program at Columbia University and is the Strachan Donnelley Chair in Environmental Writing at Sarah Lawrence College. She is the 2021 Guggenheim Fellow in Nonfiction.
