Stephanie Waters

Stephanie ‘Windy’ Waters, was raised on a cattle ranch in southern Colorado. Upon the windswept prairie she was suckled by wild wolves, until she learned to crawl. Inspiration came easy to the toddling greenhorn, who cut her teeth upon the works of Henry David Thoreau and Ambrose Bierce. Like Victorian journalist Charles Fort, Stephanie revisits unsolved supernatural mysteries. And with a long pedigree of storytellers in her shady family tree, Stephanie happens to share blood with author Windy Jim Cummins, of the infamous Jesse James Gang and with Old Western writer Frank Waters. Since 2002, Stephanie has been proudly scaring the public, as owner of Blue Moon Haunted History Tours in Manitou Springs, and Colorado Ghost Tours LLC. The author is also founder and director of the annual Spirits of the Rockies Paranormal Convention. Her five books on ghosts, legends and lore, are wildly entertaining, as they are relayed with homestyle wit and charm.
