C. L. Withers

C.L. Withers was raised in Alaska and lived there from 1955 until 2000, the youngest of four children. His father was a genuine bush pilot during the late 50's and 60's, and like many Alaskans he grew up exploring much of the state as an avid hunter and sports fisherman. His law enforcement career with the Anchorage Police Department began in 1980, with the last thirteen years assigned to the Detective Division. He retired in September of 2000, moving to the central Oregon coast community of Newport, Ore. where he now resides with his wife Sheila, a bearded collie named Caesar, and two extremely lazy cats.
