C. S. Hanson

I'm C.S. (Sue) Hanson. I've done a bit of everything in my life, including being the mother of three great people, and becoming a Realtor, and then a Business Broker. The brokerage is where I met the genius on whose life I based my first book, "The Brain Builder".

My novel "Sometimes Angels Weep" is also available on Kindle. It is based loosely on the life of a friend. I used to tell her "Someone should write a novel about your life!" So when I retired, I wrote her story myself.

In 1994 my husband and I retired to Northport, Michigan, where we grew up. I became a playwright here, specializing in musical comedies, but I have also done some historical docu-dramas, with music. Eight of my plays have been produced here in Northport... last year we performed "The Promise Kept" a true Civil War story from this town. It met with more success than I expected, and I am still basking in the fun of fame. This year we have just finished the performances of "Sugar's Folly", which I wrote as a fund-raiser for the local museum. I wrote 15 songs for this one, and they were well received,which has been very gratifying.
