Kelly Armenta

Kelly Armenta was born and raised in California, riding horses and chasing wild mustangs. She attended Western Nevada Community College where she graduated with an AA and followed this up with courses at Stanford. She now lives in South Carolina with her 6 rescue dogs, where she works full time as a SR Project Manager.

Kelly has always been interested in writing, once penning an article about putting your kid on a leash which she never had the courage to submit. But it took the reading of a substandard romance novel for her to get the incentive to write something herself. Since laying down the gauntlet she has written three Western Romance novels and is now working on a Supernatural Romance series featuring the seven deadly sins, called The Dragonfire Series. All are currently available on Amazon.

Kelly recently married the love of her life and when she has downtime, she relaxes by gardening, mentoring, writing and spending time with her husband. In a past life, she was a First Responder/Dive Team Member/Special Rescue Member for 9 years, as a Swift Water Technician, Scuba Diver, and Medical Responder.

As far as the future is concerned, Kelly has simple ambitions which include selling millions of books, securing movie deals and having her face on a billboard on Times Square. Until then, the love and companionship of her husband and dogs is the thing that keeps her smiling every day.
