Philosophers and wise men over the years have repeatedly proclaimed that the past is but prologue for the future. As I contemplate this age old saying, I am heartily encouraged at the future prospects for my own descendants. As our family genealogy clearly demonstrates, we have come from extremely humble beginnings but through faith, perseverance, hard work and good fortune over the course of the last five generations, our family has achieved much for which to be thankful.
