Vanessa Irvin Morris

Vanessa Irvin, M.S.L.S., Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Irvin (Morris) is winner of the 2012 ALA/RUSA Zora Neale Hurston Award and the UPenn GSE Faculty Book Award, for her readers guide on Street Literature. Dr. Irvin holds a merited Ed.D. in Reading/Writing/Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education.
