Marc K. Dudley is Professor of English and Africana Studies at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Dudley has presented both nationally and internationally on American and African American literature (writers including Charles Chesnutt, Cormac McCarthy, and F. Scott Fitzgerald). He has also published in the Hemingway Review and is the author of Hemingway, Race and Art and Understanding James Baldwin. He appears in the Ken Burns documentary, Hemingway, and served as a consultant on the film.
