Michelle Hamilton is a Public Historian whose research focuses on historical and contemporary issues surrounding museums and heritage, social memory and commemoration, cultural identity and issues of representation, usually in regards to Aboriginal peoples in Canada.
She is Associate Professor and Director of the MA Public History program at the University of Western Ontario, and has worked in museums across Canada since 1993.
