Mala Radhakrishnan is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry Department at Wellesley College. As she puts it, she loves chemistry so much she is made up "entirely of atoms and molecules." She earned her A.B. in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard College and her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has also taught chemistry at the high school level through the Teach for America program. Her research focuses on developing and applying computational methods for modeling and designing interactions between biological molecules. In her spare time, she is an avid musician and enjoys spending time with her family.
