For many years I had the desire to write but did not know how to begin. Then, on a wintry day in 2008, I was stuck in Chicago with a flat tire. As I waited for my car to be fixed, I pulled out my computer and a story took shape. I knew I had to continue.

I was a school librarian for twenty-one years and have been a tour manager since 1998, traveling all over the United States. I meet wonderful travelers from all over the country who inspire my stories of modern day romance to which the mature reader can relate. The stories take place in various locales throughout the United States. My characters are ordinary people struggling with issues aging adults have to face such as changing spousal relationships, parental concerns, or illnesses.

Many women and men find themselves in situations that change the course of their lives. They find it difficult, if not impossible, to navigate these new waters. My stories read like travelogues and focus on overcoming the complexity of life for the aging adult. The stories convey the power of relationships in our life and allow the mature reader the insight of always believing in hopes and dreams and experiencing all levels of life.
