David J. Ferguson

David J. Ferguson was born in 1958. He has had some amazing experiences which have informed his writing (some fantastic, some unspeakable), including playing in a rock band, going to uni as a mature student, teaching English in some of the toughest schools in North Belfast, being a team member on aid trips to Eastern Europe (and of course being a husband and father!) ...and a lot of other things that would be a bit dull to rehash here but which have provided plenty of grist for the writing mill (forgive the mixed metaphor).

He has been writing since he was in his teens. His writing here on Amazon covers a handful of genres including sci-fi, YA, fantasy, factual, poetry, religious and short stories. The parts of his writing that he has had most fun with are probably the episode featuring Jane Austen in "No Paradox" and the banter between Ben and his mates in the "Buzz" series.

David is also a musician and lately an artist too. Many of his song lyrics feature in his book of verse, "Secrets". You can find his music on Amazon, Apple music, Spotify, etc. Just search for "David J. Ferguson" - but don't forget to type the "J." as there seem to be a bazillion artists out there with a very similar name!

David is married to Lesley and they live in Northern Ireland. They have four grown-up children.
