Jeffrey Whittam

Jeffrey Whittam's formative years in Southern Rhodesia were spent fishing, hunting and exploring the wilderness. Still in his early twenties, he became a prospector of note and sold his first gold claims in 1973. For the best part of the bush war, he fought with the Rhodesia Regiment's 10th Battalion. Jeffrey's commitment to authenticity and his ability to entertain is there to be enjoyed; many of the mining and military scenes are developed from his own experience.

Jeffrey now lives in the wilder reaches of Lancashire's fell country with his wife, two sons and three dogs. His considerable empathy with Africa and its people, along with a natural flair for storytelling is reflected in his writing. Beneath A Colesberg Sky is his third novel and the sequel is well under way.
