Jodi Rhoden

Jodi Rhoden is a writer, social worker, and activist. Jodi is the founder and former owner of Short Street Cakes in West Asheville, and the author of Cake Ladies: Celebrating a Southern Tradition (Lark Books, 2011), the award winning blog My Life in Cake, as well as numerous published essays and articles. Now based in Philadelphia, PA, Jodi writes Home + the World, a substack newsletter about finding and making home, in ourselves and in the world. She works as a therapist specializing in attachment, addiction, and trauma healing, and is currently working on a memoir.
