Gary Power, originally from Bognor Regis on the south coast of England, has worked for the NHS as Superintendent of Neurosciences at Hurstwood Park Neurological centre. Now working in the private sector, he is author of over 20 published horror, occult and dark urban fantasy short stories. Currently employed as a keyworker for the NHS and contributing towards the annihilation of Covid-19, he is working on a collection of short stories, has written a dark and fantastic novella, The Art of Anatomy, which is available now and has completed a two part novel of dark, urban fantasy entitled 'Strange World' for which he will be seeking a publisher. He is a member of the British Fantasy Society and Allen Ashley's prestigious Clockhouse London Writers. His work is inspired by infamous authors such as Algernon Blackwood, H.P.Lovecraft, Lord Dunsany, George MacDonald, Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury and more recently by the writing prowess of Ramsey Campbell and Adam Nevill.

Thanks to the British Fantasy Society he has met many inspiring people, made life long friends and has acquired and distilled enough of that literary nectar, together with his experience of the fragility of human existence as a frontline health worker, to give extraordinary depth to his dark and uncompromising tales.
