I am a consultant dermatologist, based in Oxford, UK, specialising in skin cancer and particularly melanoma diagnosis.

For over 20 years I have been training UK and overseas clinicians in the diagnostic technique known as dermoscopy. The first UK dermoscopy course took place in London in Spring 2002, with further basic, intermediate and advanced courses developing over the following years. This diagnostic technique is now the worldwide gold standard for skin cancer diagnosis.

Following creation of educational material for these courses the 1st edition of my textbook "Diagnostic Dermoscopy:The Illustrated Guide" was born. This initial textbook was translated into multiple languages and is used worldwide by clinicians involved in skin cancer diagnosis.

I am delighted that the 2nd edition of my textbook is now available worldwide to purchase. This new textbook has been a close collaboration with skin cancer experts, Professor John Paoli from Sweden and Dr Alex Chamberlain from Australia, which I am sure you will enjoy.
