All the stuff I am about to tell you is pretty dry. Let me also say, I am a dreamer, a day dreamer which got me into a lot of trouble in school. Nothing going on around me was as interesting as the adventure inside my head. Thankfully, the teachers trying to get my attention didn't stifle the fun I was having inside my brain. I welcome all who want to leave reality and join in the funny albeit scary adventure.

Currently, I am writing the third book in the Inside the Lines Series titled: North From Garamba. This novel is a global romp that drags Jeff Davis, Zig Ziggarelli and an unwilling John Tucker into a dangerous hunt for the leader of an organization responsible for the murder of 150,000 people and the kidnapping of 66,000 children.

Taste Like Chicken, second book in the Inside the Lines series, has been published and has a five star review. It is a fast paced adventure with twists you won't see coming.

I am also proud to present the second book in the Poison Jar series, Kinsman, available now as an e-book and in soft cover.

I have been writing fiction for fifteen years and non-fiction for twenty-three.

My non-fiction work has been as a columnist for Steppin' Out Magazine. I have also been an editor for Writer's Room Magazine and copywriter for the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center.

My manuscript, The Poison Jar, aka The Poor Man's Daughter, won first place in Kansas Writer's Association's 2010 First Chapter Contest, second in KWA's 2010 Grabber Contest, and the first ten pages has been published in their anthology. The Poison Jar (as The Poor Man's Daughter) won second place in Panhandle Professional Writers Frontiers in Writing 2010 Contest.

My novel, Inside the Lines won first place in Author Helper's Snappy Dialogue Contest and was a finalist in the 2002 Frontiers in Writing Contest and a semi-finalist in the Austin Writer's League Manuscript Contest. It has just been released with new editing and a new cover in advance of the spring 2015 release of the sequel, Tastes Like Chicken.

The Healing (a short story) won third place in the 2004 Panhandle Professional Writers Frontiers in Writing Contest. The Root of Evil (another short story) won the Editor's Choice Award in the 2004 January issue of The Writer's Room Magazine.

My poem, The Llano Estacado, won first place in PPW's Frontiers in Writing 2004 contest, the short poetry category.

I live in Texas and am a member of Panhandle Professional Writers Association, Writers World and Writers and Authors Circle.
