I started my life at a very earlier age in the Adelaide hills at Woodside South Australia, and due to my mother's ill health, we moved to Goolwa, where the movie 'Storm Boy' was made. Then some 8 years later, we moved to Adelaide. I have had a very chequered career as a Carpenter, Builder, Professional Photographer, Sales Rep. and several other occupations including working in an office for General Motors Holden at Woodville for 18 years. In 1977, I moved to Sydney New South Wales and married again for the third time to the most beautiful woman that you could ever meet in all ways. Sadly, she passed away some 8 years after our marriage. Her name was Fay and I have dedicated my book 'One plus One Makes One' to her. The book is based on a dream I had and I believe it was because of my idealistic way of looking at love and romance, where you go through life with the one you love and there is never anyone else.I did find love but only fleetingly and I am grateful for those moments. Sadly they never lasted. Now at 78 my only love is writing.

I have just recently had an email regarding my book 'One Plus One Makes One' from Sally Odgers a well published author, manuscript assessor, editor and writing tutor. She has also written and has on sale quite a few writing workshops that are very helpful and informative.
In her review of my book she gave me 5 stars.
This is what she said in the review she emailed:
You're a true romantic, Brian. I'm very fond of One Plus One. I've read it three times (I think) and find it firmly lodged in my memory along with old favourites like "Ballet Shoes". It's a romantic story with big challenges for the hero and heroine and they're both such lovely people the reader is right there crossing everything for their future happiness. It's a fairytale that could make a ballet itself.
