Camille Olivia Strate

Camille Olivia Strate was reared on the East Coast by a very large and boisterous Italian family. Shortly after high school, she left for places unknown, fueling the fires of curiosity and adventure. After traveling the U.S. for several years, she returned to University to study Psychology. It was there she discovered her passion for performing (music) and rekindled her love affair with words.

Her first book, "Whispers-The Often Subtle Sometimes Rowdy Voice of Truth" is the result of a life long yearning to understand the subtleties of human intuition. It is a collection of true stories that she lived over the course of her travels as she searched for the "truth" of who she was. Written in anecdotal style, her book offers the reader a refreshing, witty, often humorous, sometimes tearful look inside the heart of a "blossoming Being". Her style is as unusual as it is conversational. It feels as if you're sitting beside her, listening to her share her stories, as if you were the best of friends.

Ms. Strate currently resides in the sunny foothills of Southern California's Palomar Mountains, with her curly hero, Bruzer and a host of coyotes, horses, red tailed hawks and assorted other four-legged creatures. Her next book is due for publication early in 2012.
