Sheryl Hames Torres

I started making up stories as a girl to keep my five younger siblings entertained. I started writing them down to keep the characters in my head from having me committed. Vibrant settings and loving heroes soon turned into real life when my family moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where I met and married my very own Prince Charming and learned that sometimes reality IS the fairytale. Now, after forty years, Mark and I have reared two wonderful children: Courtney a writer and artist who works in publishing, and Dusty who works in the restores auto bodywork and gave us Angela, the perfect daughter-in-law and two grandsons, Alaric and Soren. With a house filled with music and beautiful creations, lots of shedding fur from a ferociously 65lb dog who considers himself still a puppy and so much laughter and love, I live out my fairytale every minute of every day. The Torres' make their home in Northeast Georgia within a half hour of her parents and three of those five siblings, where she divides her time between her family and friends, writing, restoring antique needlework.
