Born August 4th 1961, David has lived his entire life in London. He is married with three children.
From a very early age, David demonstrated his interest and desire for knowledge of technology and 'how things worked' by taking small household electrical, electronic and mechanical items apart and then attempting to rebuild them.
In his early teens, David taught himself to program 8 bit computers which were just starting to become available. Such microprocessors included the Sinclair ZX80, the Atari and the Commodore Amiga, being the forefathers of today's PCs. Whilst completing his formal education, David spent much of his time building and programming computers and dialling into online networks, bulletin boards and chat areas where 'geeks' met to discuss various aspects of technology and programming. Without the internet as we now know it, connecting online in the early to mid seventies was a task significantly harder than it is today.
David spent the first twenty years of his working life developing a number of commercially viable ideas utilising the best available technology. He designed and built hardware products and developed software solutions, followed by creating interactive content delivered through digital television platforms.
In 2001, David was forced into a more subdued lifestyle due to ill health. Rather than giving up, he seized the opportunity to write professionally, turning an interest into a career. With his passion for technology and gadgets, David started his new career writing articles for computer, IT and gadget magazines, while harbouring a desire to write novels containing a strong element of intrigue and of course filled with technological devices he believes may be common place in the not too distant future.
Between writing magazine articles, David has thoroughly enjoyed completing five novels and is now working on his sixth.
