Chelsea Cipolla

Chelsea Cipolla Diehl is a renowned Boston-based college audition coach and consultant and is the founder of My College Audition (www.mycollegeaudition.com). My College Audition (or “MCA”) is a resource for high school students looking to obtain a degree in Musical Theatre or Acting at the collegiate level. MCA provides one-on-one coaching on everything students need to succeed in the college audition process, including monologue selection and preparation, song selection and preparation, and dance preparation. MCA’s students continue to gain acceptances to the top programs throughout the country and MCA proudly maintains a 100% acceptance rate for full-time students.

Chelsea received her BA in Acting and Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston, MA. Upon graduation Chelsea returned to Emerson to teach for the Emerson Summer Arts Academy for three summers.

Chelsea’s first book, Admit One: Ten Steps to Choosing your Acting or Musical Theatre College Program, is a highly regarded college audition guidebook that has been dubbed by students and parents alike as essential in navigating the college audition and selection process. Chelsea’s writing has been featured in various blogs and websites, including Acceptd, Samuel French, Smart College Visit, Nerd Wallet, College Express and the Performing Arts Network. She has lectured on the subject at several locations, including Destination Broadway, The Drama Book Shop, the New England Theater Conference, and other private venues across the United States.

As a firm believer in practicing what she preaches, you can find Chelsea on the stage and screen. Recently, Chelsea has been featured in commercials for Staples, Big Y and Conoco.
