I have been climbing for over 30 years and bouldering since the very beginning. Writing this book was an exciting opportunity for me to distill the knowledge and experiences I have had at locations across the United States, including locales such as the Front Range in Colorado, Joe's Valley in Utah, Bishop California and Hueco Tanks, as well as the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
I started bouldering in New England where I did numerous first ascents in Maine and continued climbing ever since. I am a dedicated boulderer even in my late 40s, doing a number of double digit problems, including a likely V12, my hardest yet.
I am confident that this book is the best resource you can find for getting started as a boulderer as well as a guide for improving to an elite level.
