Mary Bromfield

About Mary Tillotson Bromfield author of “Gull’s Haven”

Better known as Kalantan, Mary starred for many years at Leon Prima’s 500 Club in New Orleans, Louisiana and the Last Frontier’s Silver Slipper, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Howard Hughes personally chose her for one of his featured dancers in his R.K.O production, The Son of Sinbad. In 1961 she married actor John Bromfield, star of his television series The Sheriff of Cochise and U. S. Marshal. Their marriage lasted until his death in 2005. Her autobiography is in the works.
