Donal Conaty

Donal Conaty is the author of Ireland in The Bailout Years (Tall tales from Ireland in The Mire and The Eighty-Five Billion Euro Man, a political satire about the IMF-EU bailout of the Irish economy.

He is the writer and publisher of The Mire (www.themire.net).

He has previously worked as a senior editor with The Irish Times New Media Division and as a London correspondent for The Irish Times newspaper.

Donal lives in Sligo in the North West of Ireland with his wife, two children and an assortment of animals. It's all very undignified.
