Inspired by a lifelong love of Jane Austen, she literally dreamed an idea for a story that took Miss Austen's beloved characters down an unfamiliar path, and Wendi hasn’t stopped writing since.

Her storytelling has since expanded into new worlds. In her cozy paranormal mysteries, she invites readers to seaside towns where magic hides in plain sight, and curiosity has a way of uncovering more than intended. In her urban fantasy, she explores a more complex side of magic, where power comes at a cost and the line between ordinary and extraordinary is anything but clear.

When not writing, Wendi can be found on Long Island, NY, with her husband and triplets, dreaming up new worlds and wondering what might be hiding just out of sight.
