Sherry Carter

Sherry Carter's first bible study "Storms of Life" won the Award of Excellence in Christian Literature at the 2007 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. Ann Tatlock, a Christie-Award-winning author, called the study "...a powerful Bible study! Beautifully and thoughtfully written..."

Carter has an BS from the University of Oklahoma and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. After several years working as a engineer contracted to NASA in the Human Life Sciences Division of the Shuttle Program, she made the abrupt career change to be a Christian author.

Carter was raised in the military, living in several states and three foreign countries. She currently lives in west Texas where she and her husband are in service to their adopted retired-racing greyhound.
