Ginny Stone has been scribbling for most of her life. Her first book was published in 2008 - "Sibo Makes A Difference" by Lets Looks Publishers. Since then she's been on a roll and the Sibo Series has 16 titles and is still growing. These are "green" storybooks for children, written in wacky rhyme. Ginny passionately believes that changing the mindset of the next generation is going to help save the earth from going to pot! She also covers topics like nanotechnology, space, HIV AIDS and biodiversity in the series.
"The Imaginaeries of Faerie Glen" was the first title written in conjunction with her daughter, Igz. A modern-day faerie story set in a nature reserve smack in the middle of Pretoria, South Africa. There are now 3 books in this series.
"Jack, the Hooligancat" is her latest book - based on the escapades of their rescue cat, with some fantasy mixed in. A hilarious read for all ages.
"A Dog's Blog" and "Straight from the Mutt's Mouth" started out as a weekly column in The Springs Advertiser in 2007 (ended in 2016). In a nutshell, the books are a hysterical look at family life, from the dog's point of view.
When Ginny's not writing, she designs educational games, posters, cartoon strips and does other creative stuff like mosaicing and loves pottering around in the garden. She shares her life with her lovely husband Chris, her 87-year-young mom, her younger daughter, significant other with their 11-month-old baby, Rollo. She also has shares in a son who is well on his way to being a vet. Two cats complete the crazy family.
