Chris Ogden

Chris Ogden is a poet and writer living and working in the UK.

He has written poems since childhood and in 1995 was asked to write a series of drama book for teachers. Having written a series of school based stories, he was asked to write 'The Sea Empress' and 'A dictionary of hats and gloves' for Oxford University Press.

His poems have appeared in a number of anthologies selected by Paul Cookson, David Harmer and Gaby Morgan and published by Macmillan including: What Shape is a Poem?, Spectacular Schools, Space Poems, How to Survive School, I Love My Mum, The Prime Minister is Ten Today, The World at Our Feet and The Works 6 chosen by Pie Corbett.

A recent book, 'The Midnight Lantern', is available as a Kindle download as is a new collection of poems, 'All The Fun Of The Fair'.

An anthology of storm and sea poems for children is due to be published in early 2014.
