I was the Founding Director of Kidney Transplant at St George's Hospital, South West London. I retired in 2009. Since then I have taken up writing. I finished writing 'Scalpel in the Sand' the memoirs of my days in Saudi Arabia. It was published in Kindle format yesterday and is available at Amazon world wide. The paperback will be available in July 2011. I was privileged to teach the first group of Saudi women doctors to graduate and was well placed to observe the 'green shoots' of women emancipation and their problems. My period in Arabia was one of great changes. My book is a time capsule and has unconventional views about the people that I worked with in my ten years there as a surgeon. Read the book to dispel the myths that you may have about the Arabs and Muslims or if you are about to work there.

I have completed my second book a docufiction thriller centered around Nixon and Watergate, something that had intrigued me for years. Since retirement I now have the time to return to the ideas that I have had for some 30 years about Watergate. It has been ppublished as an ebook and also in POD in Create Space, an Amazon company since June 17 2012, the 40th anniversary of the Watergate break-in. I have also developed Lifestyles, a Health Education board game that is in pre-production. If the game is successful, I may want to have an APPS version. Any aspiring programmers can get in touch. I am hoping to start my third book about my Hakka family's migration from Southern China such that by the third and fourth generations, they can now be found in China, Malaysia, Australia, UK, Canada and the USA. I will start on the book on my return from Rajasthan, India after Christmas.
