David Mcdonald

Born in Forres in Morayshire Scotland on Christmas Day 1956 David lived there until 1966, a rich and happy childhood spent with 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters. His happiest memories are of the time the family spent with the cousins, the adventures and the happiness you only find in the innocence of youth.

In 1966 the Family moved to Kelso in Roxburghshire near the border with England, and in 1974 David joined the British Army. After 18 Years service he returned to civilian life and Physical and Psychological Trauma from his service have plagued him since, this has also given rise to his prolific writing.

Six books of Poetry and having just released his second and most successful novel David is content with his life, his experiences as a Soldier inspire much of his work.
