Hugh C. Griffith

Professor Hugh Griffith grew up in Leatherstocking country in New York, where he learned about The Last of the Mohicans and Rogers Rangers. He studied at Union College in Schenectady and Michigan State after serving in WWII. He taught writing in Michigan for 38 years at Ferris State University before retiring. He has published books of poetry and edited textbooks on writing for Prentice Hall.
