Alan Mcfadzean

Armed with a PhD in Astronomy from the University of St. Andrews, Alan McFadzean has worked as a professional astronomer, space scientist, radar engineer, petrochemical engineer and, once again, radar engineer because the principle of radar is that what goes out comes back again. He has worked in the Arctic and on top of what would be the world's tallest mountain if most of it wasn't under water (Mauna Kea in Hawaii if you want to check the statistics). He has been interviewed on television as a "scientific expert" and has written comedy plays for BBC radio, where the special effects budget is more manageable. Due to an historical accident, he currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
