Matt Chandler

My name is Matt Chandler and I am a children's book author from New York.

My passion for writing is tied to my love of storytelling. I enjoy talking with people, learning about their lives, and sharing it in a fun and entertaining way with my readers.

Writing children's books is a ton of fun and my kids thinks the fact that they can go visit their school library and check out my books is about the coolest thing in the world.

My favorite part about being a children's book author is that I visit thousands of students in elementary schools each year for "author visits." I spend a day (or two or three) with the students exploring the incredible world of books and (hopefully) fueling a passion for reading and writing!
