H. Wayne Smith

H. Wayne Smith writes stories he would like to see on Turner Classic Movies. He also provides a broad range of freelance writing and editorial services. His background includes international business experience, including direction of complex global programs.

Somewhere along the way, he discovered that writing about work was more fun than actually doing it. This led him to publish numerous articles in academic and professional journals. Finally, he realized that fiction writing was most fun of all.

Smith also is a former US Air Force pilot and intelligence officer. He holds a PhD in industrial-organizational psychology and lives in Colorado. He enjoys photography, hiking and fly fishing. In the winter, he also shovels snow; but he doesn’t enjoy that as much.
