J.P. Carlson loves dinosaurs, hamburgers, hamburgers made out of dinosaurs, and peach salsa. He’s a fan of adventure novels, action movies, powerlifting and MMA. The first dinosaur movie he ever saw was Willis O’Brien’s "King Kong," and the first comic book he ever owned was Charlton’s "Konga" #10.

His Aunt Fifi gave him a set of three large plastic dinosaurs when he was a little boy. She didn’t know it at the time, but they set the stage for everything that followed.
