Daniel J. Siegel

Dan Siegel is the principal of the Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel, LLC, a law firm with offices in Havertown, Pennsylvania, where he handles appeals and complex litigation for other attorneys, including many "Super Lawyers," represents injured persons in workers' compensation, personal injury and Social Security Disability matters, and is the "neighborhood lawyer" who helps residents with wills and other matters. He is also the founder and President of Integrated Technology Services, LLC, a consulting service that helps attorneys improve their workflow through the use of technology.

Mr. Siegel, the author of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law: The Basics (now in its second volume), has handled numerous cases that have changed the law of workers' compensation, personal injury and other areas in Pennsylvania. He has also authored many other books, including Changing Law Firms: Ethical Guidance for Pennsylvania Law Firms and Attorneys, published by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute; and, How to Do More in Less Time; Checklists for Lawyers; The Lawyer's Guide to CaseMap; and Android Apps in One Hour for Lawyers, published by the American Bar Association Law Practice Management Section.

He has served as a writer, lecturer and course planner (on technology, civil litigation, ethics, professional responsibility, workers' compensation, non-profit law, personal injury and other matters) for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, and American, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations. He authors the "Technology" column in The Philadelphia Lawyer, quarterly magazine of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the "Tech Brief" column in Trial, monthly magazine of the American Association for Justice, the "Commentary" column in Pennsylvania Law Weekly, and "Product Watch," in Law Practice Magazine.

A nationally-known writer and lecturer about technology in law offices and in litigation, Mr. Siegel is a past Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Law Practice Management Section. He is also certified to train and/or support numerous software and technology products. He serves on various Bar Association committees, and is a member of the Editorial Boards of The Philadelphia Lawyer and The Legal Intelligencer. He received his law degree from Temple University in 1984 and his bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College in 1981.

At F&M, Dan came under the guidance of Sid Wise, whose biography he authored. The book outlines this influential government professor's influence not only on his students but also on the future of the nation.
