Thierry Poibeau

Thierry Poibeau is a Director of Research at CNRS and an Affiliated Lecturer at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (DTAL) of the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, with a particular interest in large language models, their philosophical foundations, and their impact on society. He works on questions related to AI ethics, governance, and the epistemic and social consequences of AI-based systems.
